I'm Mike Bowman, an active Certified Public Accountant. I'm goal-oriented and results-driven, and I step in as interim CFO or Controller to give companies seasoned finance leadership — without a lengthy search or a full-time commitment.

My experience spans many industries including retail, information technology, telecom, energy, imports, construction, manufacturing, and agent AI. That range means I've seen most of what a growing company's finance function throws at it, and I've learned to tell the difference between a real problem and a symptom.

I work in both directions: strategic and tactical planning, risk assessment, cost management, and process optimization. I'm a creative problem solver, and I'd rather find the practical answer than the theoretically perfect one that never gets implemented.

People matter in this work. I've assembled and mentored high-performance, collaborative teams, and I've found that understanding and motivating people toward individual and group goals gets better results than just insisting on them. I'm genuinely respectful and engaging with everyone — front-line staff, department heads, and the board alike.
